A really interesting perspective on social media with a big emphasis on the author's obvious love for Twitter. Not sure I can call it life- or business-altering, but it was certainly an interesting read with stories of good (and bad) customer service, and lots of humorous footnote comments.I think this is worth reading for anyone who runs their own business or works in customer service. Although I still have trouble seeing Twitter as anything but a room filled with the overwhelming noise of millions of people all talking simultaneously, I do have to admit that I have had some meaningful conversations and connections on the service. Like I said, this book does give you some things to think about, and new perspectives are always important to consider. I heart Scott Stratten. I feel like if we knew each other we would be BFF's.My friend borrowed me her copy of the book. I wasn't super excited to read it. After doing marketing all day I wasn't sure I wanted to spend my evenings reading about it. I've read other marketing books and they are usually pretty boring. However, with this book I was hooked from chapter one. (He had me at Chapter One). I laughed out loud frequently while reading this. It was really relatable to my experinces. He had such a great way of explaining his points with his own experiences in a humorous way.
Great book that thought me that being present and being engaged is most important.
