Saat mereka harus melalui malam berdua, Roman memilih untuk membuka siapa Charlote sebenarnya dibalik sikap dinginnya. Dengan sabar ia berusaha mengerti Charlote, apa mimpinya, keinginannya dan kesedihan hatinya.Agak lambat alurnya karena banyaknya self thinking yang dilakukan dua karakternya. Well..what should I say?? I don't know how but I liked it very much in-spite of not understanding the plot fully. And some of the conversations were much deep for my understanding..The story started off with a promise to be an awesome read. ' coz the plot was fascinating and the characters were oOH SO HOT!!!! Charlotte Chatsworth met Roman Merrick at a shop in..well...Not so good circumstances. But Roman was smitten with Charlotte from that instant and couldn't keep his mind off of her. So he wagered for a night with her to her father, who was a known drunkard and Gambler. On the other hand Charlotte was holding it together barely. She was supposed to marry a high rank gentleman with utmost wealth to cover off her father's debts and secure a title. And she had to do it because of her sister Emily. All of these responsibilities were choking her.As I said I liked it in the beginning very much but the plot got confusing and confusing. And there came a time when i wanted to drop the book entirely. But am not a quitter. So I manned up and I will admit it shamefully that I skipped about 50 pages and started reading again.Now why the 4 stars. Because am sucker for HEAs. And this one was too good to be true. I Read the last chapter thrice..it was that good and worth all the confusing plot. Enjoy it!!
