This dreamy little confection of a novel introduces readers to Anna Trent. Anna, at her job as a chocolate taster, has an accident. While hospitalized, her life changes in an unexpected way.At the hospital, Anna sees her old French teacher, Claire. Claire advises Anna to start over and take a trip to Paris. Claire knows a chocolatier in Paris and arranges a job for Anna. Then the fun begins. . . Anna’s adventures in Parisian chocolate-making, the story of Claire’s own romance in Paris, and how bother stories eventually come together will warm your heart. Delicious! A cautionary tale of other people thinking they know best for young lovers. Each was kept from knowing the other was writing and still very interested by well meaning people and caused this couple to spend 40 years apart and only find each other..... well I can't tell or it would ruin the story. On the back cover it says this is a laugh out loud funny book, my idea of humor must be really different from the reviewer because there were some parts that were funny but no where near laugh out loud just a good story lighted by a few funny characters and scenes.
Do You like book Un Tramonto A Parigi (2014)?
Jenny Colgan's writing reads like the desserts featured in her novels--light and sweet.
