Da ich von diesem Buch schon viel positives gehört hatte, ging ich mit hohen Erwartungen daran und ich muss ehrlich zugeben, dass meine Erwartungen sogar noch übertroffen wurden. Das Buch lässt sich leicht lesen und der Schreibstil ist wirklich schön. Viele Leser meinten, dass es ein wenig dem Buch "Der Fänger im Roggen" ähnelt, was ich so unterschreiben kann. Das ist aber nicht abwertend gemeint, denn beide Bücher sind wirklich gut geschrieben und man erinnert sich noch lange nach dem Lesen an manche Details. Gentle enjoyable road trip for young adults. Set in Germany, two boys take to the road in a stolen car after being snubbed by the popular kids and not invited to a party. These two are misfits and initially don't have much in common but bond over their shared exclusion. The characters they meet in the book are crazy and flawed but ultimately not as bad as you expect them to be. Good light read, and thought provoking about not judging a book by the cover etc.
