Going into this one I didn't quite know what to expect, remember seeing it show up on my GR's friends feed years ago. Then when a couple were doing a buddy read, I jumped on to check it out.I liked this one, loved how the physic gifts were used. Matching up people was a genius way for the Valentine clan to use their gift. I wish that we knew more about how Lucy's gift changed, I wanted to know more about the accident. I can see why Lucy kept her gift hiding, too many people would use Lucy in a bad way or not believe her. But I was glad that Lucy stepped up in the ways that she did. I liked how things ended, there are so many possibilities for where this series can go from here and I look forward to seeing them. If you want a great book to get lost in, I recommend this Lucy Valentine novel by Heather Webber.I enjoyed the characters, the interactions between family members, and the interesting tensions between Lucy and Sean (among others.)Lucy's family has had special abilities for generations. They try to keep it secret, even from those closest to them, but all that is about to change. The family business is matchmaking. Their 98% success rate is based on being able to read auras and putting compatible people together. Lucy's trouble is that she does not have the aura reading ability. Her special talent was lost years ago. Still, she has at least one extra talent most of us would appreciate having. As the story begins, Lucy's parents are leaving town and leaving her in charge of the matchmaking business.Lucy is afraid of letting them down and ruining the business while they are gone. If only that was all she has to worry about. This is a fun novel full of interesting characters. It combines mystery, psychic abilities, romance, murder and so much more! The action and intrigue continues all the way through.Grab yourself a drink and a snack, curl up and enjoy.I can't wait to read what happens in the next book in the series.
