Rating: 4.25 - 4.5An interesting and bizarre analysis of the passage of time and inevitability of death and decay. Hits on many heavy subjects such as depression and embracing the essence of life after a tragic death in the family. It described society as a uniformed whole, lost and continually charging ahead, giving themselves the allusion of purpose of life, feigning joy while in actuality, feeling boredom and dullness. I loved the comparisons between the city map and the journey through life as well as the many messages carried however the presentation of the book made it a bit difficult to read. I don't really know what to rate this book. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it. I was the bookstore and picked it up, I finished it in about half an hour. It left me very confused. The story was maiming about his parents and I don't know what really. It was sort of hard to understand since at times it was sort of like gibberish. But I felt like the story itself could've been amazing perhaps if it had not been made out of a different book, just with it's cut out words.
Do You like book Tree Of Codes (2010)?
Fascinating and a beautiful object. Now I have to read The Street of Crocodiles.
