I really enjoyed this book. There are four characters in the story and each chapter alternates between their viewpoint of the events that unfold. Despite the changing points of view, it was very easy to keep track of what was happening in the story. The end did feel really rushed; I wish the author could've given a few more pages to really flesh out the resolution to the storyline. The booknotes indicate that this is the author's first "adult" book. I found it to be a very clean* and sweet, yet terribly honest book in regards to the issues of romance. If I had a teenage daughter, I would be completely comfortable with her reading this book and could see that it could lead to a great discussion on such topics as: teenage sex, safe sex, online safety, leaving home and problem solving.*Please note - there are curse words in this book. Favorite Quote: To say motherhood was a humbling profession didn't begin to describe it. And it wasn't just the lack of gratitude. That part I could handle....it was the suffocation of it. The asphyxiation. That combined with the rejection. How ironic to find yourself at the wrong end of an unrequited love relationship with the very person you'd given birth to.Cover Art: A Novel ini menceritakan kisah unik perjalanan 2 single parent yang tidak saling mengenal beserta dengan anak remaja mereka. Setiap bab diisi beberapa halaman saja sehingga membuat saya nyaman membacanya.Cerita yang ringan tidak selalu membosankan!
