Spoiler alert: Overall I've really enjoyed reading this series. But this final book is a little disappointing. I think the previous book would have served as the basis to a better conclusion than this one, which was a touch repetitive and at times had me spacing out. Also the love triangle of Jo/David/Lewis irritated me through the last few books. I really liked Lewis's character at the start of the series but I just feel he became too much of a prop to create conflict between Jo and David in the end, also his character altered and became completely heartless, as if it was only done to enforce the fact that he wasn't the one for Jo, it just felt a bit too convenient. Also, Jo seemed to alternate between lusting over Lewis and their one moment of amazing sex and the next saying she sees him as a brother and a friend. Really? A brother?! :sOh and Kevin dies :( But I've seen it through to the end and I give the whole series a 4/5, as I've enjoyed most of the books. I've really enjoyed this series and was looking forward to the final instalment. It does tie up most of the loose ends, although some were very predictable i.e. what happens to Lewis at the end. I felt that it didn't address all the issues with Jo and David's relationship i.e. the obvious differences/changes they will be faced with in the years to come and how they will be addressed. I appreciate life isn't always tidy, but unfortunately for me in fiction that's how I like it. I also would have liked a bit more of an incite into their "HEA", again I was left feeling a lack of information. That said as a whole I've enjoyed this series.
Do You like book Total Eclipse (2010)?
Fantastic ending, it's been a long time coming but this book really went beyond expectations :)
