I was pleasantly surprised by this book! It is a spin off of the author's Recipe for Love series, and while some of the characters were mentioned in this series, the reader really didn't feel that they had to have read that previous series to be able to understand this one, something I really liked. The romance was pleasantly understated but sizzled just when it needed to. The book moved quickly and I was reluctant to put it down. I'm looking forward to the second book! Escojo muchos libros por sus portadas, con este la portada si que me llamo la atención(chico sexy y cocinero), debo decir que me imaginaba una historia erótica, pero tonta y debo reconocer que me equivoque de cabo a rabo, la historia de Max y Juliet es grandiosa, celos, mentiras, intrigas, pasión, dolor, el mundo culinario, el placer, el enamoramiento, las relaciones familiares, el amor real, ese por el que estas dispuesta a darlo todo, mejor dicho esta historia es mucho mas que una portada llamativa(sexy) y sus protagonistas y personajes secundarios son geniales. Lo recomiendo completamente :)
