This is the first book I've read by this author. I took it out from my library on a whim, and I'm so glad I did. The action starts right off, and she keeps the suspense rising so that you have to read the next chapter so you know what happens. Very unpredictable ending. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so I don't want to talk about the plot too much, but it was a good one! Everything made sense, so I wasn't sitting there thinking, "Where did that come from?" This book is really great for a rainy/lazy day. What I really liked about it was that Thompson made you suspect a lot of people, so you were never really confident in your assumption of who the killer was. I definitely was surprised!Overall, a highly recommended book! I hope her other books are as good. 5 stars* * * * *
Another great thriller by Carlene Thompson. The thrills start in the first chapter and keep you guessing throughout the whole book. There were a few times I thought I had things figured out and then something else would happen to change my mind. The chapters ended so suspensful, that it makes you want to keep reading to find out what is going to happen next. In the last few chapters of the book, I did figure out who the killer was, but I still had some doubts until the end. I have read four books by this author and she is never a disappointment. I look forward to reading all of her other books.
