A cute short story that gives us more insight to the relationship between Jackson and Holly. The first day working at the summer camp together, how Jackson feels comfortable and uncomfortable around her at the same time. I like how honest Jackson is. It's a short of brutal honesty that you can take as a joke but he's totally serious. This short story isn't necessary to read, but it's quick and fun and I'm glad I did. There is something I don't understand very well here. Please do correct me if I'm wrong. At the last chapter of Tempest, the date was March 15, 2009. Jackson says it was the day he would first encounter or bump on to Holly. It would be the day when everything would start between the two of them.In this prequel, it starts on the date of March 14, 2009. And Jackson, Holly, and Adam are doing something related to their part time jobs at camp. The next day was Adam's birthday, March 15, which was supposed to be the day Jackson supposedly starts things with Holly, when she bumps on to him with her strawberry slushie. Yet in this prequel, Jackson throws a party, invites Adam, who takes Holly, and apparently Holly's boyfriend. So...what is going on here?I kinda waited at the end that it would be, like, Jackson was jumping back to the past to reminisce... Apparently not. Can anyone explain? I am somewhat—what an understatement—confused.Ack! Did I get a wrong ebook? :/
