Good god have the tissues handy for this one. I would have read this book in one sitting if it wasn't for the fact that I needed to sleep. It was a very quick book but the emotion that was packed into the pages was unbelievable. The instalove was a little unrealistic but you forget about that little issue as you get drawn into the story. A remarkable story that everyone should read. A good lesson on living every day to its fullest and finding something beautiful in each and every day. I am a mess. I am an absolute sobbing mess. Never have I ended a book feeling devastated and lost and completely torn apart. Never have I loved the characters of a book so much that I hurt with them and for them as if I knew them and was experiencing it with them. Right now, my heart is just shattered and that is the true power of an amazing author and an amazing story. I couldn't even begin to describe how beautiful Today Only is. There is so much love and pain and hope that it feels like my emotions were no longer mine. This book truly deserved the five stars. It is one of the best books I have ever read. One of THE best. And because of this, it is now my second favorite book.I highly recommend Today Only to anyone who needs a reminder that life is short and hard and meant to be lived one day at a time. I also recommend it to anyone who needs help coping during a particularly hard time. This book reminded me that I needed to tell the people that matter how much I love them each day. I had forgotten to do that and I think the hardest part of reading this beautiful story was realizing that tomorrow, I could be gone from this world, and so many people would never know how much they meant to me. Not only is Today Only an amazing story, it is a life lesson and an inspiration.
