If you read the first one and liked it, this one is as easily enjoyable. I find it odd, that many readers (reading a book about a Zombie Apocalypse!) felt the idea of a 13yr old girl being very good at killing zombies "unrealistic." Ha ha! -- but yeah.. if you struggled with the previous book being unrealistic, don't bother with this one, it keeps going (that is either a good thing, or a bad thing, depending on whether or not you enjoyed the first one.) If you DID enjoy the first one, I thought this one moved a little faster and was more enjoyable in a number of ways. In general, I love anything by Ringo. This is no different. If you've read anything by him before and like it, you'll like this. Same if you hate his writing. It's flat out military/prepper/action-movie appreciation, but there's real story, and real characters in there too. Sure, they're all turned to 11, but at root, you can see the real people they might be. Ringo's an author you'll either love or loathe, I'm sure there's nobody that kinda likes him.
Do You like book To Sail A Darkling Sea (2014)?
It is going to be hard to wait for the next in the series. I want it now!
