From the Amazon review: "When Eleanor Pierce discovered her fiancé, Damon Stafford, Viscount Wrexham, secretly meeting with his old mistress, she told him she never wanted to see him again. Now, just as Eleanor is in the process of securing a successful match with Prince Antonio Lazarra, Damon suddenly reappears in London. Eleanor is determined not to repeat the mistakes she made in her disastrous engagement, but the more Eleanor tries to stick to her carefully cultivated plans to marry the charming Antonio, the more she’s reminded of just how irresistible her rakish former fiancé can be. Two perfectly matched protagonists engage in an exceptionally entertaining battle of wits and wiles in the latest cleverly constructed addition to Jordan’s wickedly sexy Regency Courtship Wars series."Although I remember enjoying this book, I did have to look up the review because I couldn't remember it, having read it on holiday a few weeks ago. Fun, light, but not memorable. Book is currently stored. So far I'm enjoying it, but it's slow going. They say that love and hate are two sides to the same coin. Well, in this story Eleanor and Damon fear the same thing - the problem is that they are on opposite sides of the same coin. How they figure it out and come to love each other was a lot of fun. I do think the book could have been shorter and still as good, but it is worth a recommendation, nevertheless.

This was a good regency. Pretty steamy. The heroine has some brains & initiative.
