I love the GFL books and was in the need of a quick GFL fix and thought this could help me out. I enjoyed this book but I did have a tougher time caring about the characters. Don't get me wrong, they were interesting characters but I wasn't even sure who I wanted to win. If you are a GFL fan it is worth a read. They tip their hat enough to the GFL series mentioning characters and places from there. I'm a big fan of Scott Sigler's GFL books and the novellas he's releasing with other authors to further the addictions of his hardcore addicts. Title Fight is set in the universe of the GFL, but is not a book about galactic football. This is all about MMA and the true fighters at the top of the game who seek to test themselves against the best of the best.As with all of the GFL books, crime lords and underhanded dealings abound when Korak and Chai - the 2 best fighters in opposing MMA leagues - are set to fight for the IFA championship. There is a pleasing mix of brutal violence and warrior spirit in this book in similar ways to the other GFL books, but with an MMA twist rather than the speed and patter of the grid iron.If you enjoy the GFL, this a great book to get into the feel of the same universe, even though it's not about your favorite Ionath Krakens. It's a fun and fast addition to the siglerverse which I highly recommend.
