This is the first book in Katie MacAlister's new series and it is fantastic!!!! I love all of Katie's books because they're romantic with a twist and have non-graphic, steamy sex. The men in her books are to die for and make me drool. lol All of the characters in her books pop right off the page and stick with me for a very long time afterwards. I stayed up all night last night finishing Time Thief because it was so fun, romantic, mysterious and action packed, I couldn't put it down. I've started the sequel and may end up staying up all tonight too. :) Time Thief has all the usual lighthearted charm of a Katie MacAlister Otherworld story, although it didn't really get going smoothly for me until around page 50. My only negative comment is that the conclusion includes a shocking revelation that's inconsistent with Peter's earlier comments about his parentage. No explanation is given about why his mother, her family, close friends or his birth certificate wouldn't have revealed this fact decades earlier. Otherwise, it satisfies.
