Really good. Was good to me because of the greek mythology like the first book, but also because it has some romance in the story. I have never heard of this myth unless it was just only based of the myths. I have heard of Helios and the sun chariot, Apollo and Dyonisesses music compition, Apollos first love, Athena against Archena in weaving, Pan and his tree nymphs, Posidon sends a sea monster and the king must send his daughter to be eaten and Perseus saving her, Perseus taking off Mudusa, one of the three gorgansk, heads, a kings son going out into Dedaleses Labrynth to kill the Minotar, and about King Minos who could touch anything and it would turn to gold.
This juvenile/pre-teen series is beyond adorable. Its twist on the classic mythology keeps the young reader guessing. I absolutely loved the first two books when I was in elementary/middle school, and I'm only now finishing the series as an adult.Even coming back to it years later, this series has some awesome attitude and a tone perfectly suited to its audience. The Furies' poems are funny and clever, Thalia's voice is distinct and fun to read, the plot (despite some shallow points) is light and entertaining.
