About book Theirs To Play (2013)

I have to first and foremost give props to the author for creating a strong female lead I actually enjoyed. Dawn kicks ass.She is a great blend of strength and vulnerability. I am really impressed by the dialogue and wit between the characters. There are a few dialogue/Editing errors of the story, all easily overlooked as one gets swept away by the story. I was drawn in first by a woman giving some jerks a taste of their own medicine and pleasantly surprised to find that Freddie at least, did have a few enduring qualities. I didn't know this was going to turn into a series and am a bit disappointed. I am impatient and really want to know what happens next. Will Max grow on us to? What's this Cadens angle? I sure hope Wright's ready to serve up the answers soon. Theirs To Play by Kenya Wright4.5 StarsOk so when I started this book I wasn’t sure if I was gonna like it…Well, Im so glad I stuck with it…because I ended up really, really liking it. Let me set the scene for you…Two hot, extremely wealthy (like ridiculously wealthy) and bored brothers have come up with a “game” of sorts to occupy their time. It has been played using countless women and they have broken many hearts along the way. What they do is pick a target then they each swoon her to see who can get her to sleep with them first, because that obviously means she loves that brother?? Ugh, men. Then, when they acquire that goal, they basically dump her and move on to a different city and or country and a different girl. These two are suave and even though they are playing a filthy game and at times I would like to throat punch either one or both of them, I have to say they grew on me. Like a fungus.Their game was working smoothly until Max and Frederick went to Miami and set sights on their new target Dawn. I can’t even explain Dawn. She is my god damn hero. She has these two eating out of her hand and has both their heads spinning totally throwing them off their game. And the way she does it…its just god damn poetic. She not only figures out what they are doing BUT she agrees to go along with it telling them that NEITHER one of them will ever get in her pants but they are more than welcome to give it a shot..and that is exactly what they do…only it seems she has perfected the art of the cat and mouse game they are playing and I don’t even think she realizes at times how good she is at it…and neither can they. Instead of pulling this game on her, she ends up flipping the table and making each one of these brothers rethink what they are doing and think that they are actually falling for her. I laughed out loud at times at how smoothly and daintely she has them turned inside out. Her comebacks are freaking hysterical. Did I mention she is my hero? LOL…She gets them to divulge things about their past that makes her see each brother in a different light although she keeps reminding herself this is just a game. She begins to “peel the layers” of what has brought them to where they are and what they are doing. Needless to say that feelings are caught by each of them, relationships are formed and the brothers realize that maybe its time to grow up…Or is it? Besides the humor, quick wit and comebacks there is a little mystery or twist that is mentioned throughout the book but never expanded on and it ends up being a pretty big cliffhanger at the end. Great plot, great characters, great character development, it flowed smoothly, made me laugh out loud and smile more then once and really liked the end…Anxiously awaiting the next book 
