In Band 2 dreht sich alles um Isabel. Sie lernt einen Jungen kennen und verliebt sich in ihn. Er scheint von außen normal zu sein, doch er ist kein Mensch. Er ist wie Michael, Max und Isabel ein Alien. Er hat keine Angst davor entdeckt zu werden und benutzt seine Kräfte, wie es ihm gefällt. Menschen sind für ihn nur Insekten und er sieht sie als unterlegende Rasse. Er zieht Isabel auf seine Seite und sie sieht nicht, wie unmenschlich er ist. Das Chaos nimmt seinen Lauf und Valenti ist ihnen dicht auf den Versen. Werden sie es schaffen ihm zu entkommen und was für einen Preis müssen sie dafür vielleicht zahlen?Nikolas war mir von Anfang an so unsympathisch und er hat verdient was er bekommen hat. Isabel war in diesem Band so dumm und ich hoffe sie hat etwas aus dieser Lektion gelernt. Ich mag sie ja eigentlich, aber sie hat sich einfach nur dämlich und selbstsüchtig benommen. Alex hat mir so leid getan, ich hoffe wirklich das er aufhört Isabel hinterher zu laufen, sie hat ihn nicht verdient.Michael und Maria waren so süß in diesem Band. Ihre Freundschaft nimmt, jedenfalls in meinen Augen, eine andere Richtung und das macht mich sehr glücklich. Ich finde es so niedlich, wie er in ihr Zimmer steigt und zusammen mit ihr Filme sieht und sich dabei so gar nichts denkt, obwohl sie so eng zusammen liegen. Da kann man nur sagen, Männer. Aber ich bin voller Hoffnung, dass Maria ihn schon in die richtige Richtung lenken wird.Max ist mir immer noch total unsympathisch. Er soll sich doch endlich mal entscheiden. Erst küsst er Liz und verschlingt sie dabei fast und dann stößt er sie von sich. Gott sein Dank war das in der Serie nicht so wie im Buch, ich wäre sonst vorm Fernseher gestorben. Liz kann einem so leid tun und ich würde zu gerne sehen, wie sie ihm eine klebt. Er hat es wirklich verdient.Fazit: Nicht so spannend und originell wie Band 1, trotzdem fand ich die Handlung sehr gut. Isabel hat es mir sehr schwer gemacht und es gibt auch nur wegen ihr 4 Sterne. Sie hat mir das Buch einfach ein wenig verdorben. Zum Glück ist sie in Band 3 nicht wieder die Hauptfigur, sondern Maria und Michael. Endlich wird mein Wunsch erfüllt!!
I easily read this in half a day! Awesome just like the first! How much Max loves Liz is so heart touchingly sweet and I can really see Maria and michael's relationship developing as well! I really liked Alex I this book but Isabel got on my nerves a bit. In a small way I got the basis for where she was coming from but she was so overly dramatic about it. Like she was mad that she felt like Max and Michael were treating her like a child but she never stepped back to try to evaluate if it was true. I wonder if Nickolas might have been manipulating her somehow because she was so different than usual...I also wonder if he's really dead. And what happened to his body? Did Valenti just walk off with it? Did it occur to any of them that his having an alien body might be not so smart? Hmm, I suppose we shall see! I'm so enjoying this series and have the feeling it will be a fast read. Really good, totally sweet, and very cool!

OMG WHAT.Nikolas is dead, thank god. But Ray, and alien? And what's up with that being the last line? I have to wait another week before I get the next one. UGH. So angry. Otherwise, great book. 9/12/09Book 2I haven't started reading this yet, I hope it's good. I got the second book in the mail first. It's a Saturday so I'm gonna go ahead and read it.__________________________________________________________________Welp. I'm done, I was dismayed when I got the second book first, but luckily thanks to the show I was familliar with the characters.This book was good! It was cute and short. Had romance and adventure in all the right places.I get all my books from Paperbackswap.com and I was SUPER mad when I found out that the remaining books aren't posted, not only that but I can't find any that aren't in German. So I'm just gonna have to wait and see if they FINALLY get away from Sherrif Valenti.

Roswell is amazing, there I said it, I have confessed my deep abiding love of all of the characters and the wonderful plot that make up both the books and the TV show!!Having said that I will admit that the writing is not THE BEST in the world and the plot is a bit simplistic if you don't love the TV show and bear with the books. But overall they are awesome!!Isabel: She - the ice queen herself - has a major cruch on the new guy in town. Nikolas isn't like other boys, he understands her and he is wild. But Nikolas is more than he first appears and his relationship with Isabel will put everyone in danger. Will Isabel see his true colors in time to save herself and her thrown together family?Alex: He knows that Nikolas is bad news, but how can he convince Isabel of that fact without looking like a jealous freak? He is determined to keep Isabel safe, even if he has to make her hate him to do it, but will he well meaning intents be enough to keep Isabel alive when she starts living on the edge?Great as always and better than the TV show at times I am thoroughly enjoying the rollercoaster ride that is . . . Roswell High!
