The pattern of these books is now quite easy to get: You get one epice book followed by a calm one that builds up the next epic arc. This one is one of the building up ones. While previous books were focusing on the smaller community, this one expands to the larger world.Gregory isn't likeable at all, but I guess he will not last for long. Jesus is great, but as Rick said... he is hiding something...The next book, as Rick's group will try to protect the new community should be epic. 2.5 starsThis installment was probably one of my least favourites of the series so far. It felt a bit like a 'gap filler' if I'm being honest and I found myself becomming a bit bored around the half way mark. The story did move along so I suppose these slower books are necessary for plot development but I just prefer the books where there's more 'zombie action'!After the events of the previous book the group (yet again) have to rebuild and come up with a new plan for the future. This seems to play out just as Rick plans until an outsider turns up with a proposal for trading between his group and Rick's. It was good to get a fresh face added to the story and I liked what happened from here on so I'm hoping the next book brings back the good old zombie action that the book was lacking!
