Talk about creepy.A school called The Forge, where artists are talents are nurtured and expolited on the ultimate reality television show. Drug induced sleep from 6pm to 6am supposedly helps the creative juices flow. Something sinister happens in the night when the cameras aren't rolling and the stars of the show sleep. Or is it all the imagination of one brilliant student?This was a STUNNING and GORGEOUS story!!! I simply cannot wait to see where the story goes. Well, until the ending (more precisely the non-ending), I would have rated this a little higher. However, now I am confused. In some ways, the story just went around and around, not gaining any clarity. I mean, I like amnesia stories--and this put me in mind of an amnesia story--but the amnesia just stayed from the beginning to the end of the story. MI am sure this is to set up the next book in the series. However, it left me feeling pretty empty. I do not know if I want to continue to book 2 or not.

I like this author's Birthmarked series, but I just couldn't get into this book at all.
