I must admit Brian, I do enjoy reading your books as they are very easy to kick back and relax with. Grammar is always a shocker, though the story lines are pretty cool. From time to time while reading your books, (and you do make the books around 150 000 words which I consider fantastic value,) I get annoyed by the style you choose to tell the story. Funny thing is though, you still have me hooked! Well done I am awed by it all. Brilliant scenes and discriptions allbeit long winded. It could be a much better read though if it were condensed some more. Otherwise - keep going you seem to be an interesting character and - well, story teller. So many people thought this book sucked, but I didn't. I'll tell you why. This book is written beautifully, if you forget that one grammatical error. And if you're looking for Romance, try somewhere else. The book is written in present tense, which I think is REALLY cool. The other people are a bunch of babies, and if you are too, go read a mainstream book like Harry Potter or Eragon (which were both AMAZING). If you aren't, I dare you to read this book, because you won't be able to put it down…or the rest of the series, until you finish it! I don't rate five stars often (rarely I would say), but I think this book deserves it.
Do You like book The Unsuspecting Mage (2008)?
reminds me of the Guardians of the Flame series.
