Loved. Loved. Loved. After reading the book, one of McClure's snippets noted it was one of her least favorite books that she's written. Well, it quickly became one of my favorites. Like many of McClure's books, this one ended up on my favorites shelf.I just loved the quick wit and humor that Gareth possessed. I was chuckling throughout the entire read. He was such a great and well written character...I instantly ooohed and aaahed. Oh sweet little Drea; she was utterly precious. I had no problem envisioning the characters. I just loved this so much; Loved every single page. I have no doubt this will be read again. Most likely a third time, possibly a fourth... This book was just awesome! Before I read this, I was pretty familiar with the story of Jane Eyre, but I didn't think that it was as great as this rendition of it. After reading this, I basically watched and read everything I could pertaining to the story of Jane Eyre. After all of that, this book is my favorite. The characters were amazing! Oh my gosh, Gareth! Holy crud, I loved how he teased Annette almost mercilessly. I would be the same as her in every one of those scenes. BLUSHING!!! I look forward to reading more by the outstanding Marcia Lynn McClure!
