About book The Tycoon's Make-Believe Fiancée (2014)
I read this book because I was having book withdrawal systems. I needed some type of literature to get me through the week and this book accomplished that. But that's about it. The story has kinda been exhasted so was very little excitement. Because it's a short story there's not much time to go into detail. Overall, nothing really special about the book. I needed a quick read and this book satisfied that. I'll probably keep reading her books because they are short and sometimes you just need a short story to unwind.I did like the ending when he raises hell when she tries to give the ring back and they're arguing about getting married for real. But then I get super irritated when she just accepts it just because the sex was good. No connections on a emotional level, no learning about one another. Honestly, Lennox could have a short segment where they spend time together not having sex and that might have sufficed. Apparently, this was book two in a series? That would explain the very odd start to the story, where Royston meets a sister he though was dead and we're suddenly also in this other character's head, without being properly introduced to either of them. Enrolling a co-worker/subordinate to act as his fiancé, he of course insist she share his bed, and she, of course, is a virgin who doesn't want to get into it with him, and... I just can't. It was painful enough finishing this book, I can't spend another minute trying to review it.

cute premise but too much happening too quickly to build the story and connections.
