It is a wonderful story of change, and true love. Maxim is the Grandson of Elisaveta Tanner and is responsible for taking care of her, in her old age. She loves antiques and she loves the store where Sharlamagne Dickens works. It is the Dicken's families antique store where the family loves working together. Maxim is used to dating gold-diggers and so when he meets his grandma's friend Sharlamagne, he does not look twice at her because she is so young, she is only 18.A few years later, they meet again, and out of necessity are thrown together to make sure that Elisaveta's last wishes were carried out. Maxim and Sharlamagne get to know each other, and they get to know the secrets of an old house. One of the secrets is the Passion Room. They will unlock the secrets together, and may even live happily ever after. I really liked this contemporary romance, partly because I am totally in love with antiques. (Oh, and I have also been accused of having a hickey because I burned my neck on a curling iron.) The story itself is pretty cliche; a little predictable, but still interesting nonetheless. I loved the humourous scenes that made me laugh along with the characters until I almost cried. Overall not too bad in every other way. MLM is always a good clean read, no matter what may be insinuated...

A little steamier than some of her other books. Likable, memorable characters.
