I finished reading Unspoken and Untold in April and I immediately loved the books. Which is why it was very devastating to find out later that Unmade wouldn't be published until September. Having finished reading the novella, The Summer Before I Met You, makes me want that book even more. I wouldn't be able to stand Kami in real life because her restless nature and overflowing energy would exhaust me just by being around her, but I like her in the book. I think she's quirky and endearing like a talkative and energetic toddler. I love the team of Kami, Angela and Rusty. It's funny how I like my fictional characters with the traits that I can't normally be able to tolerate in real life. The Summer Before I Met You is a consolation for not having Unmade in my hands right now. And I am glad that I'd read it. 3 Stars Being a fan of Ms. Brennan's novel "Team Human" when I found her "The Lynburn Legacy" series I promptly located and read this ss. As I had suspected it is very well written, I fully intend to start the first book asap. Luckily my local library has both the first book "Unspoken" and the second book "Untold". Unfortunately it looks like we will have to wait till sometime in 2014 for the third book "Unmade". This ss is about Kami and Angela's summer right before the Lynburn's move back to town. Cricket summer camp and the death of Kami's grandmother are the main events.
Do You like book The Summer Before I Met You (2000)?
Good, but I wanted a story from Kami or Jared's perspective and this is neither.
