Ben & Shane, OMG! This bland accountant tears it up when he meets the hot Brit bartender he is now partners with after his dad left them each half of the bar as an inheritance. Through grueling renovations that sounded like an episode of HGTV, tragedy, and recovery, these two and their loyal staff make it through. I loved the turn Ben took from the beginning to the end. He found himself and found his true love when he met Shane. Most of the time, I don't mind if a book lacks a plot as long as the character development is well done and the progression of the relationship stays interesting. However, I found myself noticing the lack of plot in this book, and wishing something interesting would happen. When something did happen, it was both predictable and at the same time unbelievable.I did like the characters and the dynamics of their relationship, so that keeps the book from getting a 2 star rating, but it definitely could have been better.
