Do You like book The Solitary Envoy (2004)?
I start out by saying that I'm not a huge romantic reader. A little mush is okay, but I don't like books that center wholly upon it. I had expected this book to be "one of those," so it sat on my desk longer than it should have.Because this book is really, really good. It's not bogged down by descriptions, the characters act like real people, and the romance comes so slowly that for awhile, say, the first 175 pages, you know it's coming, but it's not there. But GOD'S love is woven throughout the story in a beautiful way. I couldn't put it down for the first 10 chapters! The main character, Erica, is a bit feministic. I do wish she had been slightly less so, but the remarks are quite few.Overall, this was a refreshing read. It was a solid fictional book, and for that, I'm glad to have picked it up. The Innocent Libertine, coming up!
