My first Cathy Maxwell and may be my last. This was a terribly infantil book. I couldn't get into the character's and couldn't understand why they would eventually fall in love. Bored me to tears in places and I had to struggle to finish the book. I kept falling asleep. I am in a great deal of physical pain and have trouble sleeping, so from that point it was good, but that pain means this had to be pretty dull and slow to bore me enough to actually fall asleep. Based on this book I will not look for more by this author nor would I recommend her. Mixed feelings! Her character annoyed me. His on the other hand, I liked, and I really liked the fact that he wasn't your typical run-of-the-mill rake type character (I mean I love it when it's done well, but come on!) Kept my attention but was annoyed at her, some of the situations were a bit outlandish, not enough focus on them actually falling in love, and the end was wrapped up a bit too quickly/neatly.
