I thought this book was well written and it is certainly entertaining. But, laugh, law of attraction--I've been feeling a bit stressed and this is the second stressy/stressful book I've read in a row. Hannah's disasters are so obvious in coming I felt myself groaning and I didn't even want to read the BIG disaster--obvious throughout the book that it would come--when it finally happened.Well written and executed. Easy to like the Hannah. Funny. But, I swear, this book stressed me out! It is one endless disaster after another. So a total downer for that. Not the reason I read a book (I much prefer upliftment).... but it is very well done. I really liked this book!!! Probably because it combined several of my favorite things....eating, mindless chick lit, food, eating, humor, food. :-) A great fun, light read, although my one complaint is that it was sometimes repetitive and just spelled out situations a little too much. Or too many times. But, there were several lines that made me LOL. For instance, describing a work day as "shitastic". Hilarious! Who hasn't had one of those days/weeks?!?!
Do You like book The Secret Supper Club (2012)?
Very cute, light read. Totally different from anything that I have read but I did enjoy it.
