Spoilers..sorry, but I have to vent.I'm only halfway through, and am really trying hard to understand this:Gray has an asshole boyfriend that she seems to be indifferent about. So why is she with him to begin with? Especially after meeting somebody better? This book should have ended at the first chapter when Gray met Jasper.Bye-Bye Ian. But instead, Gray stays with Ian, and "plays by his rules." What am I missing? Why does Gray feel any obligation to do what Ian tells her?Especially when it brings her physical harm.Her feelings are not clear. Neither is her motivation.Is she just a doormat with no self-esteem? She just blindly does what anybody tells her? None of these "conflicts" are believable.Not sure how much more of this I can take before I DNF, but I am trying! 3,5 stars!Normally I don't like reading love triangles. Though here were three people involved, it didn't really feel like a triangle or cheating because Gray and Jasper had Ian's permission... I really loved Jas! But I have to ask: what was with all the humming? I've never read about or heard a man humming this much my entire life. And I couldn't understand why both a Gray and Jas bothered with Ian. He was such an a**hole. But that aside I liked his book and enjoyed reading it. Elizabeth Finn's stories are just beautiful and her writing is so vivid that you feel like being in the middle of it all!
i liked this although Ian was a real shit so i didn't quite get what Gray was doing with him...
