About book The Real Werewives Of Vampire County (2011)
Review of the novella "Where Darkness Lives" By Alexandra IvySophia, the Were mother of the four pure blood daughters and most revered female among her kind, was known as the Queen of Bitches. Not revealing that she may want to be near her daughters, she moves into a gated community in Chicago. She refused Styx's offer to stay at his lair for her safety even with the Dark Lord's powers still seem to be looming. However she decided to hire a bodyguard, Luc.This was a fun story and I have to admit that Sophia really grew on me. She and Luc had great chemistry, and I enjoyed their banter. Oh my GOSH. Super funny, and good, and weird! I just love anthologies, especially when they include a fav author(s)! Each story is a sifferent take on weres in suburbia. Sometimes nostalgic, funny, scary, silly, romantic, domestic... there are so many moods included. Suffice it to say, if you like paranorms about weres... you'll love this book! I actually received the lovely oversized paperback as a birthday gift!

I enjoyed all of the stories. This is one book I'm glad I didn't judge by its cover OR its title!

One of the better anthologies that I've read so far. Alexandra Ivy's addition in particular!

I liked the first 2 stories, but the other two were not really worth my time.
