This book is suitable only for readers that only need their books to feature a female protagonist and a 'boy meets girl' love story.I found it unbearably hard to continue once Kel's obvious plainness came into being. I lost my battle with the book at page 80. The heroine bursting into tears almost every page, her cliche background and yes, Kel's unbearably low tolerance for life conspired to make a magical, unforgettable adventure. Her mother being oh-so-obviously gorgeous was another fatal blow.The Evil Queen having sex slaves and mentions of rape were the nails in this coffin. I never even got deeper into the 'unique' love story between the sheltered, crybaby heroine and the dashing thief.
