When I started this book, I actually thought it was another book... So I was surprised when it wasn't what I thought it was going to be, but boy, was it a good surprise!I really enjoyed this book. Being LDS, all the references in that way made sense to me and I was comfortable with the religious references. I understood where Leigh was coming from in a lot of ways, and rooted for the good guy the whole time while she was totally oblivious. *sigh*5 stars! There is not a single bad thing about this book to point out. I felt like I was with Leigh and Jaron the whole time, a part of their lives. The idea overall is not so unique that you would flatter the writer, but it wasn't cliche either...something in the middle, I guess. Leigh and Jaron's relationship is so smooth, natural and quite amazing. They share a strong brother/sister bond and are very close to each other. As she grows stronger after fighting a cancer, she doesn't push him away and act differently like I had expected her to, but becomes even closer and gets new friends, a new life. It was a pleasant read, romantic (because of Leigh and her boyfriend Brian), dramatic and relaxing. Although some parts of the book that aren't so relaxing after all, it's nothing major that will have your eyes water in sadness and grief.
