The only aspect of this book I actually liked was the illness thing. It made the main character and storyline a bit more interesting. Everything else was terrible. What bad writing. Too many musical references. The author's awkward attempt at including some weird singing subplot. The sudden romance. The crappy breakup and inevitable reunion. The other weird subplot with the fake celebrity. I hated how the author tried to teach us all a lesson about cruelty. Seriously, what was that big speech about in the end? This book had some potential but was just bad in every way it was executed. I'm kind of in the mood for meany Hero. The Hero who tortured the heroine when they were kids but actually have a crush on her but too shy to admit and ended up 'bullying' her. This book definitely deliver what I want. But as the story goes, what I don't like is the heroine's character. The Hero, Robert, happen to be okay to me. I mean, he was a bully but now when he's all grown up, he tried to make it up to Lana, the heroine he used to torture, by defending her and treating her nice. He even apologize to her and admit that he feel horrible about how he hurt her feeling. But, Lana, personally to me, is childish. I don't like how flat her expression and even though she's all hot when Rob starts kissing her and stuff, I don't feel the connection with her. I feel like Rob's trying so hard yet she didn't really paid him that much attention. Plus, her 'nice' manner toward Kara after she's being a bitch, is a bit.. Annoying to me. Lana is 22, right? I'm pretty sure that 22 year old girl would never act as naive as her. But overall, I enjoyed it. The revelation about Sasha is completely unnecessary to be honest, because to me it ended up unimportant. Only to add spices that unneeded, personally. This book could be so much better, if only the author fix up her plot because I think her style of writing is pretty good. My first book from this author by the way, and I think it won't be the last.
Do You like book The Nature Of Cruelty (2013)?
I was really enjoying the history but I didn't like the direction the story took from 87%.

I really enjoyed this story but was a little bit disappointed there wasn't an epilogue!
