About book The Mentor Leader: Secrets To Building People And Teams That Win Consistently (2010)
I would recommend this book to anyone that interacts with people on a regular basis. This book encourages us to be intentional in our interactions. We never know who is watching or listening so with that in mind, know our behavior and words may have an influence on their lives. Use any platform that you have to bring someone closer to reaching their higher purpose. It's not about you shining, it's about being of service. Wow, this book was great. Even though I read it because of hockey, I don't regret it at all. Tony Dungy does a really great job of expressing what it really takes to become a mentor leader. After reading this book, I am reconstructing my relationships not only with my team mates, but with my peers at school. I am inspired by Mr. Dungy's writing to reconsider my character, integrity, and relationship traits. Overall, this was a very well written book and I would definelt recommend it to everyone.
