Hickman drew me right in with his technical writing for Fantastic Four and FF. There's something I like about someone who writes just a little over my head. I think it's the challenge.MP delivers an alternate reality of science that will get any nerd giddy. It actually started pretty clear and easy to follow. Don't let that fool you though, the chaos comes in quick and with force. And I mean that in a completely positive way. This book was recommended to me and unfortunately it wasn't a big hit. There were so many interesting concepts in this book when the person who recommended it was telling me about it, but once I actually read it the story fell flat for me. It was so jumpy all the now and then parts got me so confused. It was another when you look at it, it seems really interesting, but once you read it it's really confusing. I didn't really feel a draw to any of the characters, and the constant hey this person isn't who you think they are plot twist was just like oh yeah another one. I might get around to reading the next one someday.
Most idiotic thing I've ever seen. I wish there were a way to give something less than one star.

Good read. Slow pace, but full of weirdnesd, excitement and scientific depravity.

It was interesting and very imaginative, but not a series I have to read more of.

It was a bit slow to get started, but once it got going I couldn't put it down.

Very interesting and very weird. I really love Jonathan Hickman's writing.
