This is my second Kelly Hunter book (the first was Wife for a Week) and I really enjoyed it. Wife for a Week was a little ridiculous but I found it hilarious. I was expecting something similar to that with The Man She Loves to Hate but it was surprisingly intense and sweet. I liked that the characters were fully fleshed out even though this book isn't that long. Looking forward to reading the rest of Kelly Hunter's books! Cole closed his eyes and rested his forehead against hers and for a moment he felt at peace. Was this what his father had felt in Rachel Tanner’s arms? This feeling of coming home?Little wonder he’d never been able to give her up.‘Make love with me, Jolie. Please,’ he asked her gruffly, and Jolie sighed and kissed him softly on the lips before drawing away. She took his hand and led him to a tiny room dominated by a big, old four-poster bed.
This was so different from the usual HR, and it was great.
