About book The Loving Cup (1996)

Well a cancelled wedding that goes ahead 12 months later, an elopement actively encouraged by Ross much to the disappointment of Demelza as she remembers Ross taking something by force. I have the feeling she knows all about it but it is only hinted at!Demelza puts two and two together re the robbery and discovers the papers and loving cup in the cave. Ross finds her drunk and is quite cross as this goes beyond a laughing family matter with her tippling the port. She cannot tell him what the problem is and will never as Ross would never understand.Stephen and Clowance finally marry but she is discovering the extent of his lies with more to come. Poor Ben goes on a bender and has to build trust again.Am now moving onto book 11 and still thoroughly enjoying. Yes there is loving activity in these books, its not hot to trot across the pages like in modern books but referenced, alluded and wey hey he kissed her naked shoulder and asks if she requires her nightdress! Love these books

This is the tenth book of the Poldark's saga. The wars against Napoleon are coming to an end. Geoffrey Charles returns to Trenwith after fighting Bonaparte in Spain and with a Spanish bride. Demelza will play an important role in this search. This saga will continues with two more volumes: The Twisted Sword and Bella Poldark.
