Do You like book The Lost Choice (2004)?
The Lost Choice is a page turning thought provoker. Do our choices in life really make a difference? Thinking about the many choices we make everyday what are the personal outcomes of the results of our choices? The point of view in this book may surprise you and make you look at things from a totally new perspective. While Mr. Andrews book is fiction, it poses the very real possibilities of how our life's choices can not only change our life but also have an impact on the future of our society as a whole. I look forward to reading more of his works that will hopefully make me stop and think and truly take a in depth look at myself and how I live my life.

I didn't think I would like this book because the beginning started out a little cheesy. A little cheese is okay every now and then, especially if the book has a good message. The moral of the story is that everyone on the planet has the potential for greatness. It is up to us to choose to act and live up to our potential. There are a few really great quotes from the book "The Lord always provides me with changing ideas. Not that I am special. The Lord provides everyone with life-changing ideas. These ideas are quite literally a treasure map from the Almighty. It is up to each of us, however, to choose to dig for the treasure. Every man and woman on the planet contains within them the power to change the world, but this power is only manifested when one makes a conscious choice to use it." (pg.89)"There are those who would say, 'Let us be patient. Let us sit and wait upon the Almighty.' I say to them, 'Get up! The Almighty is waiting on you!' Make no mistake, the Lord God instructs us; He leads us and inspires us, but He expects us to do something with the gifts we've been given. It is a choice that too few make." (pg. 145)

As a fictions go it was fairly good. Most fictions these days are romance novels, so to find one that isn't was a refreshing (hence why I don't read many fictions). The best thing I can compare it to was the movie, national treasure (loved that movie), as the story develops more and more clues are uncovered and the great part about it is how he weaves in real historic events and people. I don't want to spoil the plot, so I wont dissect the theology, but I will say that while this book claims to be a christian fiction, I found it to be much more of a fiction that emphasized the power of personal choice than a powerful God.
