OMG I'am speechless. How can one family have that much bad luck. It is ridiculous. It was a really good read. It goes to show when you change your life everything you do comes back to bit you in the ass. I read all three books in a day i havent did that in a minute. I cant really trust the ending knowing how they write. You can say what you want about Mecca the is a beast you hate him and love him at the same time. I really love Carter i wanted him have something great because he was by his self a lot in his life. Breeze story was tragic and i hated that part. Zy made mistakes what chick i dont know he even started with her. You never mix business with pleasure, hell he didnt even like her. I decided to wait to read this book since closer to the release date of part 4. I'm so glad that I did because I would have been pissed of I would have had to wait a couple of years until the next installment. Like the previous books in the Cartel series, this book was a definite page turner. In fact I felt like reading part 2 was absolutely pointless since this one started from where part 1 left off. There was non stop drama and action. Carter is still the man, Mecca pulled at my heart strings and poor Breeze went through hell. At the end I fell in love with Zyir and I was rooting for he and Breeze. I was also rooting for Mecca because my feelings for him totally changed by the middle-end of the book. I was distraught at the ending and some of the things that occurred but it's something that I have come to expect from A&J. I am hoping that some major storylines are resolved in part 4.
A strong come back for one of my fav series!
