About book The Killing League (2000)

This is a novel with a novel idea: a group of serial killers brought together by one man, given targets to kill, as they compete against each other to see who lives, dies or ends up in prison. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work. We are drawn in, wondering how this will work out, and just beginning to really care about the two main characters when the book abruptly ends. The last few chapters, while wrapping up the plot, seem hurried and tacked on; we are given no real answers, and are left unsatisfied and annoyed. A serial killer organizes other killers in winner takes all game that is murder and an FBI agent and the surviving victem of a crime are the two biggest prizes. There is a lot of blood and gore, as you would expect. Perspective is shifted each chapter and as the chapters are short, it happens fairly quickly. I would have liked a little more character development, but over all, I felt this was a good read.

Do You like book The Killing League (2000)?

One of the best thrillers I have ever read. I was captivated from the first page to the last. Bravo.

The real perp was so random. Did not expect it to end so abruptly.
