About book The Invisible Gorilla: And Other Ways Our Intuitions Deceive Us (2010)
I liked it. Much of it was review. I like the last paragraph:"When you look at the world with an awareness of everyday illusions, you won't be as sure of yourself as you used to be, but you will have new insights into how your mind works, and new ways of understanding why people act the way they do. Often, it's not because of stupidity, arrogance, ignorance, or lack of focus. It's because of the everyday illusions that affect us all. Our final hope is that you will always consider this possibility before you jump to a harsher conclusion." Found this book after reading reviews on another book "The art of thinking clearly". It has been said that most part of information has been taken from Invisible Gorilla so I decided to read original. The book is well structured and easy to read, accompanied with many examples from psychology experiments which are always fun. After reading of this book it is possible that you will start to estimate the boundaries of your brainpower slightly different.
