The Intern Volume 1 grabbed my attention from the very beginning. Definitely not a waste of time.Ceci West is a high school senior with a horrid past. A past that she wants answers to.The cops are no help in the matter. What does she do? She takes matters into her own hands. She become an intern for a company that helps solve cases to get the answers that she wants in order to move on.Bently Leighton, is the son of a CEO, forced into the "family" business. I really don't understand authors want for writing stories so short, they seem to be over before they begin.This is part one of a 4 part series of "the intern". Cecilia West is an 18yr old with one plan in her mind. finds who killed her father 7 yes ago and seriously injured her. those scars are visible mentally and physically every day. Ceci applies for an unpaid internship at Leighton Enterprises, under the name and credentials of her 21yr old sister. As she heads in fire her interview, she knows she had what it takes, she wants answers to give her some closure but Ceci didn't count on meeting Bentley Leighton upcoming CEO abs the zechariah charge that is there from the beginning. Leighton knows mixing business with pleasure is not a good idea but Ceci come along with het cute attitude and smart mouth and her ability to make him hard pretty much all the time. Ceci knows that she needs that internship to break into the files at Leighton to find out what really happened to her dad.The chemistry between Bentley & Ceci is undeniable and the 2 can only fight it fit so long. So using a criminal information evening as bait, Bentley invites Ceci along. That just leads to a hot steamy night together. Still hiding her age, luckily Bentley is so taken by her he doesn't realizes. Infact he has no clue what he is getting into! but neither does Ceci....
