Awesome book! With a beautiful romance, this story of Amber McPhee's journey from present day to Scotland 1566 captured my attention fully from the beginning. It's an amazing adventure in which Amber meets and falls in love with the warrior, Lachlan. There's a castle, immortal people, and the mysterious Guardian, also known as the Loch Ness monster. A captivating tale that keeps the reader glued to the pages, The Inscription has all that you could want in a story...it's an emotional time for Amber, and she eventually becomes one of the family, but not before having to adjust to a completely different way of life. I would love for this story to continue, to find out more about Lachlan's people and their immortal lives. Thanks to the author and goodreads for providing a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review. This book is highly recommended, a fascinating story.
