I don't get what's funny for the rest of the world about this story.Ellen is spending all her free time drunk or half drunk and that made me sad.I've nothing against the use of swearing in a book, unless it's done like a three year old who says a 'bad' word thinking he's making a joke. This book is booooooooooooooooring. There is no banter at all, only long description of *supposed* funny situations. The dialogue is inconsistent and void.I skipped so many useless descriptions (like at the golf club) that I can put this book in my DNF pile :/ Reading this book just confirms that nurses (and medical professional in general) have a warped sense of humor, which is probably why I loved this book so much! Ellen is a fowl mouthed, awkward, slightly inappropriate ER nurse, who has just had her heart crushed by her douche bag fiance. Luckily for Ellen the new trauma surgeon has his eye on her. And oh Trent Hamilton, can we just say he's pretty perfect! Be prepared to laugh, and laugh hard (like spitting your drink out or snorting loudly type laughing).
Do You like book The Infamous Ellen James (2000)?
