This is the 4th book I have read by Cindy Woodsmall and the 1st of this series. I LOVE these books! They are perfect for anyone who loves to get lost in the characters' world and feel like they really know the people and the place. They are very real in that they are about real life problems-major ones-and she doesn't go easy (so if you don't like hard things, don't read these) but they show how these women work through life's problems. I hope she never stops writing. Half buried memories from childhood surface as a panicked single mother flees to find a safe place for herself and her young child. And what secrets will finally be uncovered by her journey into the past in a Amish community? Will those who help her be forgiven or shunned and can she redeem her long-dead mother’s reputation? In the first novel in the “Ada’s House” series, author Cindy Woodsmall begins a fascinating tale of love and desire and of wrong-doing and forgiveness.
Amish reading is so easy to read. Always a great storyline can't wait to start book 2 in this series
