About book The Hidden Magic Of Walt Disney World: Over 600 Secrets Of The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, And Animal Kingdom (2009)
Not a bad little book. I loved reading all the facts and hidden secrets about Walt Disney World. I LOVE Walt Disney World so it wasn't going to be hard for this book to impress me. I do wish it had focus on a few more attractions, some were barely mentioned and a few not at all. This book would be tons of fun to have with you while strolling through the parks, the only downside is WDW has made a lot of changes since this book's publication. It's new enough to cover the addition of Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and some upgrades to the Haunted Mansion, but not new enough to cover the removal of Mickey's Toon Town. If you can remember WDW it's definitely worth the read, heck, even if you can't it's fun to see what used to be. This book did have a few things in it that I didn't know or had forgotten. It was a fun little book, however, there were drawbacks to reading it when you aren't planning to go to the Parks soon. There were several "secrets" that the book hints at and tells you where to look, assuming you're using it as a guidebook through the Parks. But it never actually told the reader what he would find. So, if you're not at the Park some of the secrets will remain secret.I think this would work better if it made up its mind about whether it is a guidebook or not.
