I have been following Kara's blog "Mundane Faithfulness" for months. I have been captivated by her writing and her faith. This book is an extension of her blog. So open, so raw, so beautiful. I have learned to look at my moments as Grace given by Jesus in such an intentional way. I cherish these words written by this kind women who speaks God's truth for all who will listen. Thank you, Kara for sharing this piece of who you are with all of us. I finished this book in November of 2014. I read this book shortly after Brittany Maynard, took a dose of medication to end her life. Kara is a woman, like Brittany, who has terminal cancer. Kara describes her struggles during her time of cancer, and she describes how cancer has brought her family closer together. She is a very talented writer, and this book was so hard to put down. I loved how she bore her heart and how much love she shows throughout this book. Kara is a hero. If you know of anyone who has cancer, I recommend this book for you. It will touch your heart.
