Bladezz is not my favorite Guildie, but I still enjoyed learning about his secret model past. I wanted to get my hands on all of the other issues, but my local comic store didn't have them in stock. Alas. But if you like The Guild (and if you don't, why are we friends?), you'll get a chuckle or two out of this bit o' Bladezz. Merged review:3.5 starsI love revisiting my Guildies whenever I can and this collection of backstories is no exception. Rather than see each member functioning within the group (which we still do get some of, it's just not the focus) we get to see them in their IRL environment dealing with The Game and real life in the same step. This is another fun addition to The Guild's canon from Felicia Day and Co and a must read if you're seeking things to fill the time between Season 6 episodes. First, I read very few graphic novels. I'm not big into comics. I do pick up a few when they relate to something I already like in other media (Buffy S8, Fray, The Walking Dead, V for Vendetta) or if I see an artist somewhere that I like, like Dragon*Con (Ted Naifeh). So, keep that in mind. :) I REALLY liked the first TB with Codex as the focus. It was really funny and highly enjoyable. This one was slightly less so, but still really good. I thought the character's voice was captured really well in each chapter, and they're all very distinct. Is there a plan for more of these? I'd totally buy them, though in the TB version...I'm not a fan of having a lot of the small comics around, but I like the nice TB versions.
Do You like book The Guild Volume 2 (2010)?
If your a fan of the web series then you will enjoy reading the character origins.
